About the Photographer
Geoffrey Gilbert lives in Santa Cruz, California, which is 70 miles south of San Francisco on the northern tip of Monterey Bay.
"I have been waking up early my entire life, so getting out of bed to photograph spectacular sunrises over the Pacific Ocean has been a natural progression. I love taking pictures, but what really drives me is capturing the moment. Santa Cruz is an amazing place, a cold water paradise where the redwood trees meet the sea. I hope you enjoy viewing these pictures as much as I loved taking them and that they bring a smile to your face and your heart."
